Trusty · The fine print
Disclaimer
The honest version, in one place.
What a Trusty read is
Trusty is good at one thing: digging through the public record on a business — public reviews and public information we reviewed — and pointing to where the signs lead. A read is our informational opinion based on that public information. The green, yellow, and red flags describe what the signals point to; they are not statements of fact, accusations, or guarantees.
What a Trusty read is not
It is not the final word. It is not professional advice. It is not a claim that we are the arbiter of truth or all-knowing. Public information can be incomplete, outdated, manipulated, or wrong — and we can be wrong too.
Always do your own research
Use our read to save time and ask better questions, then verify independently before you pay, sign, book, apply, or share sensitive information. The decision is yours, and so is the responsibility for it.
If we got something wrong
Tell us. Use /dispute/ or email [email protected] — we correct or unpublish a read on request, and a business is always welcome to add its side.
